Practice Teaching Fourth Week ( January 24 to 29)

Due to the pandemic situation the offline classes are shifted to online mode. We are permitted to conduted classes via only whatsapp. Because most of the students suffering range issues. 

In my first two online classes I made both the batches equal in content covered. Then I conducted a trial method for google meet to know how many students can attend properly the cls. Most of the students attend properly the class. I used video of hydrolysis of water. Students are more interested in Google meet class than WhatsApp class because of videos. I shared that video and voice messages in WhatsApp for other students.

The next day I covered the portion named Carbon Monoxide for 9th standard students through WhatsApp. Students didn't properly attend WhatsApp class and the responses was not satisfactory.

Then I conducted meet for 8th standard students. I used ppt for conveying points regarding Universal solvent. Students are more active in meet class. Even though class is via meet  I share Ppt and Voice messages in group after the meet class. So I ensure that noone miss my class.

Now I completed 1 chapter for 8th and 9 th students. I am not satisfied in online classes because I miss the real classroom interaction.

Saturday we conduted the second session of Awareness class in online mode. Students attended the class in meet platform.

Practice Teaching Third Week

The first day of this week was a sad day. Because Sidarth the student of 7E died due to fever. So Monday was holiday. Tuesday we had optional observation. I hadn't class on that day. So I missed my first round observation. After lunch time I got a free period for 9E. Then I taught electronegativity. In the week of teaching practice I had 8G. But due to some issues students in the 8G mixed with 8F. But the chemistry teacher in 8F didn't hand over her period to me. So Deepa Mathew teacher gave her 8A class for me. Even though Deepa teacher was the class teacher of 8A, she gave her period to me. Im thankful to Deepa teacher. Last period I got 8A. Wednesday I had first period on 8A. Students are studious and energetic. I liked their active nature. In 4 th hour I taught polar compounds for them.
