Practice Teaching Third week ( January 17 to 20)

The third week of teaching practice was very short in working days. I had an examination on January 17th, so I couldn't do my teaching duty. The next day I completed Freezing point for 8th standard. Optional observation was on that day. I was very happy to hear positive remarks from Viji teacher. Like Sangeetha teacher she also enhanced my potential. Today I am more self confident than previous days.

Wednesday I completed the portion of Carbon dioxide and its uses for 9 th standard and Hard water and soft water content for 8th standard. 
We conducted  afternoon awareness program for 10th students. Due to covid protocol 10 C students are allotted for that session. The topic was "Awareness on Cyber crimes and SSLC motivation". It was an 1.30
hr programme. Principal inaugurated the program. Anchoring was done by Sheena mol. S. B and I did inaugural session. Midhun handled the section of 'SSLC motivation' . He tried to encourage self confidence and time management ability in students. That session was very useful for students because they are going to face SSLC exam with in two months.
Megha guided the next session named 'Cyber crimes'. Megha gave crystal clear idea about cyber crimes and the aftereffects. Students were more active because of active participation of students. The last session was 'Over use of mobile phones'. It was handled by Dileesh. His way of presentation was unique. Students participation and comic elements made the session more attractive. Finally Jayalexmi did vote of thanks. Dhanya distributed feedback form. From their feedbacks it is clear that they enjoyed the awareness programme. We are very happy to conducting such a useful session for oir students.
Thursday was the last working day of this week. I completed Surface tension for 8th standard. Students are more interested for doing experiments.
Even though Friday was non working day, we reached the school for collecting details about online class... Now I am moving on to online from offline classes. Being frank I am very sad because I really missing the offline classrooms, their good morning wishes amd and thank you teacher wishes.... Expecting reopening of school..............

Practice Teaching Third Week

The first day of this week was a sad day. Because Sidarth the student of 7E died due to fever. So Monday was holiday. Tuesday we had optional observation. I hadn't class on that day. So I missed my first round observation. After lunch time I got a free period for 9E. Then I taught electronegativity. In the week of teaching practice I had 8G. But due to some issues students in the 8G mixed with 8F. But the chemistry teacher in 8F didn't hand over her period to me. So Deepa Mathew teacher gave her 8A class for me. Even though Deepa teacher was the class teacher of 8A, she gave her period to me. Im thankful to Deepa teacher. Last period I got 8A. Wednesday I had first period on 8A. Students are studious and energetic. I liked their active nature. In 4 th hour I taught polar compounds for them.
